Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process, providing compassionate, hands-on support
Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
Assume charge nurse duties when required, coordinating nursing activities across the shift
Use clinical judgment to prioritize care, plan work, and respond to changing resident needs
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members
Use facility computer systems proficiently for charting and communication

Qualifications

Current California LVN license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Minimum one (1) year of experience as an LVN
Graduate of an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and able to assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Education

Graduate of an approved LVN program (Associate degree or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and the ability to establish priorities and adapt to changing situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency for electronic charting and documentation
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
Charge nurse experience is a plus
