Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive abdominal, OB/GYN, neonatal, superficial structures and vascular ultrasound exams with clinical accuracy and professionalism
• Execute image-guided procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage and intraoperative ultrasound safely and confidently
• Assess and monitor patients before, during and after procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Canon i700) and manage images in Fuji Synapse PACS and Meditech EMR
• Provide timely, high-quality imaging documentation and collaborate with physicians to support diagnostic decisions
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to other units as needed to support patient care continuity

Qualifications

• ARDMS certifications required: AB, OB and RVT (active and in good standing)
• Active BLS — AHA certified
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute hospital setting (demonstrated competence to proficient in required exam types)
• Proven experience with vascular duplex, Doppler studies, neonatal and OB imaging
• Comfortable performing aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures and intraoperative ultrasound
• Familiarity with Canon i700, Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Ultrasonography techniques across abdomen, OB/GYN, neonatal and superficial structures
• Doppler and vascular duplex studies (carotid, extremity arterial & venous duplex)
• Image-guided procedures (biopsy, aspiration, drainage, intraoperative ultrasound)
• PACS image management and Meditech EMR workflow
• Patient assessment, safety, and bedside professionalism
• Ability to prioritize exams and communicate findings effectively to care teams
