Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams (including vascular studies) with attention to patient comfort and clinical accuracy
• Operate and maintain imaging systems and GE Centricity PACS to ensure timely image capture and storage
• Document findings and images in the patient record and communicate clinically significant results to the care team
• Follow department protocols and complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklists
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and site-specific requirements (fit test, drug screen, immunizations)
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to prioritize patients and support efficient workflow
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications

Qualifications

• Current RDMS or RVT credential preferred/required (RDMS/RVT) — must be able to verify certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience with GE Centricity PACS and familiarity with PACS workflows
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings: Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella), 2-step PPD or IGRA, Tdap, and physical/health statement
• Active license/certificate verification as required by facility
• Comfort and experience working overnight 12-hour shifts and functioning independently on night coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic ultrasound techniques and vascular imaging protocols
• PACS operation and image management (GE Centricity PACS experience a plus)
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Anatomy, pathology recognition, and proper documentation practices
• Ability to perform competency-based testing and adhere to skills checklists
• Basic life support and acute patient safety awareness
• Familiarity with hospital credentialing and pre-employment health requirements
