Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, renal, neurological, and diabetic conditions
Titrate critical drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and manage patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment
Collaborate with a dedicated team, including charge nurses and patient care techs, to ensure high-quality outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication while problem-solving complex cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation
Driver's license required for distance verification
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac, neurological, and renal patient care
Proficiency in titrating and managing intravenous drips
Experience with continuous EEG monitoring
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
