Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday rotation, on-call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform X-ray and radiology imaging procedures including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Prepare and position patients for scans to ensure high-quality images
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Radnet and Merge Unity
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications

Hold current ARRT certification in Radiography
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-ray technologist
Proficiency in Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of X-ray and radiology procedures
Skilled in operating GE and Toshiba scanners
Strong patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team
