Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in a Level 4 NICU
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with sterile technique
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists and midlevels
Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, including those with cardiac defects and genetic disorders
Float to mother-baby and labor care to assist with neonatal stabilization
Educate families and support them during their NICU journey

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Cardiac STABLE certification preferred
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Ability to pass SIMs Lab for Foley insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile field maintenance and infection control
Experienced with Cerner EMR and Philips telemetry
Strong understanding of neonatal critical care, including ECMO and cooling therapies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
