Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients including ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, and CPAP/BiPAP setup
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
Assist with intubation and conscious sedation procedures
Care for neonatal patients in Level 2 Nursery using bubble CPAP
Work collaboratively with lead therapist and nursing staff to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapy (RT) License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 1 year NICU experience including Level 2 nursery and bubble CPAP
Strong ventilator management skills with PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and weaning protocols
Neonatal respiratory care including bubble CPAP
ABG collection and interpretation
Airway management and intubation assistance
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby procedures
