Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Lincoln, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM with rotating weekday call 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM and every other weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast imaging
Assist with breast biopsies and interventional radiology procedures
Support OR cases and NICU baby imaging
Conduct doppler studies and transport patients when volumes are low
Communicate and document findings effectively with radiologists and other providers

Qualifications

ARDMS certification required
BLS certification required
Experience in abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound
Experience in breast imaging and procedures
Experience in NICU imaging
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC and McKesson PACS
Experience with Siemens ultrasound equipment
Knowledge of Trophon probe cleaning system
Strong communication and documentation skills
