Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, self-scheduling with cyclic rotation, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with total joint replacements (knee, hip, ankle, shoulder) and spinal conditions
Administer pain medications, antibiotics, and blood products as needed
Monitor patient status and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS certification required (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Ortho experience preferred
Driver's license required to verify radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Team-oriented and willing to help teammates
Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Willingness to learn and take ownership within the department
