Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM / 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for cardiac patients, including titration of vasoactive drips and continuous telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage post-surgical and downgraded CVICU patients
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to rhythm changes
Support the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart patients
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed

Qualifications

At least one year of experience in a cardiovascular or intermediate care setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titration of cardiac drips
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
Knowledge of cardiovascular nursing and patient management
