Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans and ensure patient safety and comfort
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses
Educate patients on the procedure and address any concerns

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) or Radiography (R) with CT certification
Valid California state license or eligibility
BLS certification required
Experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of PET/CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
Proficient in operating imaging equipment and electronic medical records
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
