Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and neurological conditions
Titrate intravenous drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and manage complex patient needs
Collaborate with charge nurse and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (NLC)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license for identification and radius verification
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Positive attitude, strong communication, and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac and neurological medications
Experience with telemetry and continuous EEG monitoring
Strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and effective communication
Adaptability to float across different units
