Radiation Therapist – UHC Staffing

Radiation Therapist

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (warmup shift when trained)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and equipment including all necessary supplies and setup devices
Accurately deliver prescribed and planned radiation treatments, verifying treatment doses and patient positioning
Perform imaging, patient monitoring, and treatment delivery with precision and care
Educate patients on their treatment plan and what to expect during therapy
Maintain detailed records in ARIA and Epic, including port films and treatment documentation

Qualifications

Active Washington state license in Radiation Therapy
Radiologic Technologist Certification and ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification
Experience with ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, and Epic preferred
Must obtain dosimetry badge prior to start (or a spare can be provided)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in radiation therapy treatment delivery and patient positioning
Proficient in imaging techniques and treatment verification
Strong patient education and documentation skills
Comfortable using ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, and Epic electronic medical records
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced oncology clinic
