Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends and call rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the night shift charge nurse team in our Family Birth Place, ensuring safe and compassionate care for laboring mothers and newborns
Provide couplet care including L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum for babies 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with a fun, evidence-based team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
Oversee unit operations, assign staff, and support clinical decision-making

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
Active Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
NRP and STABLE certifications required
Charge nurse experience preferred
Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in L&D, postpartum, and newborn care
Ability to manage high-volume deliveries (80+ per month)
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Familiarity with evidence-based practices and couplet care
