Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to oncology, PCU, and med/surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for reactions
Titrate drips such as heparin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and case management
Float to other units as needed to support team and maintain patient care
Maintain a positive attitude and foster a teamwork environment

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU and/or oncology experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred
EPIC experience within 6 months preferred
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Must pass a competency exam with a 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
Proficient in EPIC EMR system
Ability to titrate common drips like insulin and cardizem
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to float between med/surg and PCU units
