End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days) or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a PCU/MedSurg setting
Administer medications including chemotherapy, heparin, and cardizem
Monitor and titrate drips as needed
Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
Float to other units at the same level of care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers

Qualifications

Active RN license
1 year of PCU or MedSurg experience
Oncology experience preferred
ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
First-time travelers welcome
Driver's license required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of oncology and trauma nursing
Ability to titrate drips
Proficiency with EPIC
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
