Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for arrhythmias
Titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Manage PCU-level overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Document patient assessments and interventions in Epic

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU/Tele experience
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Experience with Epic preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac nursing
IV drip titration
Patient assessment and critical thinking
EPIC charting system
Tracheostomy and Bipap management
