Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: Silverdale, WA

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with every other weekend rotation.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-acuity birth center
Attend deliveries independently and assist with c-section circulation
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and titrate IV drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
Transition newborns and provide mother-baby couplet care with a focus on patient education
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OB/GYN hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers
Float between L&D and postpartum as needed, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications mandatory
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Must be comfortable with independent delivery attendance and c-section circulation
Previous travel experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Centricity Perinatal EFM system
Skilled in titration of high-risk medications and drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
Ability to adapt to unit workflows, policies, and feedback
