Roles & Responsibilities

Provide goal-directed, individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care in a long-term care setting
Document care accurately in clinical databases and PC systems
Adhere to facility policies and standards of nursing practice
Support a compassionate, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Alaska
BLS certification required
At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in long-term care nursing and patient support
Basic Life Support (BLS) skills
Computer proficiency for clinical documentation and electronic health records
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for resident and team interaction
