Location: Bryan, TX

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation (2 full weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR
Provide patient and family education on therapeutic exercises and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Meditech EMR
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a caseload of 10 treatments per 8-hour shift
