Location: San Andreas, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Saturday is inpatient only)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Provide both outpatient and some inpatient care, adapting treatment approaches accordingly
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
CPR certification (BLS) required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
Excellent documentation and time management skills
Ability to adapt treatment plans for diverse patient populations
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
