Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
• Assess patient condition, develop care plans, implement interventions and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record clearly
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments and discharge planning
• Respond calmly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical or related inpatient settings preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility credentialing
• Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• IV therapy and wound care fundamentals
• Electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
• Time management, prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
• Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
