Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely, following protocols and physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — California RN licensure required or eligible
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS as required by unit or employer
Prior clinical experience in nursing settings (hospital or clinic) preferred
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate quickly with unit teams

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and documentation best practices
Comfortable with medication administration, IV therapy, and common nursing procedures
Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and charting systems
Strong teamwork, time management, and patient advocacy skills
