Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using Siemens equipment, ensuring clear diagnostic images
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely, following radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Operate PACS and EPIC for image review and charting, ensuring accurate patient records
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics, including ED and ICU populations
• Assist with special procedures when needed (aspirations, biopsies, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, drainage, myelography)
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture with skill and professionalism
• Collaborate with the care team and lead when required, using management/lead experience to support unit flow
• Maintain infection control, PPE protocols, and adhere to facility guidelines (flu vaccine required unless exempt)

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (Adult Acute Care, ICU, or Emergency Department experience required)
• Must have hands-on experience with Siemens CT systems (Siemens experience is mandatory)
• Familiarity with PACS and EPIC charting system
• Experience with contrast preparation/administration, radiation safety, IV starts, and venipuncture
• Management or lead experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

• Siemens CT operation and image display/post processing
• PACS proficiency
• EPIC for charting and documentation
• 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Abdomen, pelvis, chest, head & neck, spine and musculoskeletal CT protocols
• Special procedures: aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography
• Isolation precautions and PPE, radiation safety practices
• Patient care across age groups: neonates through geriatrics
