Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent patient ratios of 1:3-4
- Float to other telemetry units including Neuro Tele as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
- Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Manage non-titrating drips and support patients with CPAP and high-flow oxygen needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts
- Must demonstrate sterile field competency during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac stepdown and telemetry monitoring expertise
- Cerner EMR proficiency
- Comfortable floating across multiple telemetry units
- Experience with lung transplant, esophagectomy, and ER overflow patients
- Team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
