Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 1-2 nights of call per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound studies including OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, carotid arteries, DVT studies, and renal arteries
Conduct image-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
Rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings to support department needs
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain equipment and ensure proper documentation in McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification required
RVT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Active BLS certification
Prior experience in vascular and general ultrasound studies
Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with GE L8 and L9 ultrasound equipment
Strong understanding of OB/GYN, abdomen, carotid, DVT, and renal artery imaging
Comfortable performing image-guided procedures like paracentesis and biopsies
Familiarity with McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems
Excellent patient care and communication skills
