Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
- Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
- Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including PB 980, Hamilton C1, and Airvo systems
- Cover all hospital areas including ICU, ER, surgical, and medical units with clinical independence
- Make critical clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes every shift
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

- Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
- Neonatal through geriatric patient populations
- Critical thinking and independent decision-making
- Collaborative communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptability across inpatient, ER, and specialty units
