Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care to post-surgical patients
- Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms while caring for ICU patients in the PACU setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams across ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI cases
- Support patients through critical recovery moments with skilled assessment and intervention
- Float to surgery center as needed while maintaining high standards of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience
- Ability to respond to call within 1 hour
Knowledge & Skills
- PACU nursing expertise
- Strong cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation skills
- Comfort managing vents, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
