Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, and diabetes
- Support post-cath and total joint replacement recovery journeys
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver excellent outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support the broader care team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Some background with CVA/TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Medical/Surgical nursing fundamentals
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
