Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with both medical and behavioral health needs
- Monitor telemetry readings and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and the care team to support patients with secondary mental health diagnoses
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR and ensure seamless communication across shifts
- Float to support ED psych holds or other MedSurg floors as needed while delivering excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of MedSurg/Tele experience in a Level 1 trauma facility with 600+ beds
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Psychiatric experience is a plus but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Ability to maintain sterile technique during procedures
- Comfort working with patients who have behavioral health needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to float to support other units when needed
