Surgical Tech
Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
- Assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including total joints, general, vascular, spine, CVOR, ortho, neuro, ENT, and trauma
- Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR leadership to keep cases running smoothly
- Respond to on-call needs with professionalism and reliability
Qualifications
- Current Surgical Tech certification or license as required by California
- Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner Surginet EMR and Phillips Telemetry systems
- Ability to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner Surginet and Phillips Telemetry
- Comfortable scrubbing a broad range of surgical cases
- Strong sterile technique and OR protocols
- Ability to adapt quickly to different specialties and case types
- Reliable call response and teamwork under pressure
