Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility and safety needs
- Facilitate early mobilization for acute medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
- Determine appropriate discharge plans including home safety or rehab transfer recommendations
- Provide specialized care for ICU patients including stroke recovery and general weakness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Medical/Surgical, IMC, and ICU units
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently with diverse patient populations
- Strong evaluation and clinical decision-making skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational Therapy expertise in acute inpatient settings
- Patient evaluation and assessment techniques
- Early mobilization protocols
- ICU and acute care experience
- Discharge planning and safety assessment
