Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures in a 16-suite OR performing 30 cases daily
- Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision when every second counts
- Serve as a reliable resource for colleagues while gaining valuable charge nurse exposure
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
- BLS certification required
- Proven trauma and neuro experience in the operating room
- Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
- Epic EMR experience highly valued
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of trauma and neuro surgical procedures
- Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with a 30-minute call response time
- Willingness to float within Zone 1 facilities when needed
