Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures (abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal) with attention to detail and patient safety
• Execute specialized studies such as brain perfusion and vascular CTA to support acute stroke and trauma care
• Operate Siemens CT scanners and PACS efficiently to deliver timely imaging in an emergent ER/Level I trauma environment
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and start peripheral IVs when required
• Collaborate closely with emergency, ICU and surgical teams to prioritize emergent inpatient imaging needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in Epic to ensure compliance and continuity of care
• Respond promptly and professionally when on-call, supporting urgent imaging needs across the facility

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT certification required (ARRT CT preferred)
• Current BLS required
• AART Advanced certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with Siemens and Epic (hard stop)
• Comfort and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure ER/Level I trauma setting
• Willingness to work rotating nights, weekends and participate in on-call rotation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal
• Experience with brain perfusion and vascular CTA protocols
• Skilled with Siemens scanners and PACS workflows
• Charting and patient record management in Epic
• Contrast media preparation and administration techniques
• Peripheral IV insertion and vascular access skills
• Ability to prioritize and perform under emergent, trauma-driven conditions
• Commitment to patient safety, comfort and clear clinical communication
