Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients with compassion and precision
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes
Assess patients, manage medications and provide timely interventions
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly and accurately
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and discharge plans
Escalate concerns and advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (California license expected for practice in-state)
Telemetry nursing experience — comfortable with rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work independently during overnight per diem shifts

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Venous/IV medication administration and documentation
Patient assessment, triage and prioritization
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation skills
Clear communication with patients, families and clinical teams
Ability to remain calm and decisive in urgent situations
