Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shift
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and clinical policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Prior acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on per-diem shifts
• Willingness to comply with facility onboarding and credentialing requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for adult patients
• Medication administration best practices and IV competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork, professionalism, and patient advocacy mindset
