Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on every shift
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status closely
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the medical record
Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
Respond promptly and effectively in urgent or emergency situations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS or specialty certifications preferred where applicable
Comfort with acute care nursing and the ability to prioritize in busy settings
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Wound care and basic procedural nursing skills
Charting and documentation in electronic health records
Infection control and safety best practices
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and advocate for patients
