Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and compassionately
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to coordinate treatment
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the chart
• Educate patients and families about care plans and next steps
• Respond to emergency codes and participate in life-saving interventions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency triage and rapid assessment skills
• IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with common ER procedures and protocols
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and team members
