Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, leading the care team with confidence
Administer medications accurately and safely
Provide expert wound care to promote healing and comfort
Coordinate resident care plans and communicate with families
Monitor residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with the DON and on-call physicians as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license (any state - compact accepted)
Current BLS certification from AHA
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience required
Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Comfortable using Matrix EMR
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently as the charge nurse
