Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, preserving dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation and handoffs to the care team
Follow infection control practices to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Valid authorization to work in California
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are certified are welcome

Education

Completion of an approved CNA program or equivalent
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding assistance, and toileting support
Comfortable taking and charting vital signs and basic observations
Knowledge of safe patient handling and mobility techniques
Basic documentation skills and familiarity with care plans
Infection prevention and standard precautions awareness
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
