Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition changes accurately
• Support nursing staff with procedures and timely patient handoffs
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
• Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and basic comfort measures

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in California required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is a plus
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in basic nursing care and ADL assistance
• Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Comfortable using electronic charting systems or paper records
