Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant during assigned per diem shifts
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Take and accurately record vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Maintain clear, timely documentation and charting in patient records
Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure excellent patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in California (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Prior experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings helpful but not mandatory

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid CNA certification in California

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in basic patient care and supporting activities of daily living (ADLs)
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection control best practices and hand hygiene
Clear communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with electronic charting systems is a plus
