Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly escalate changes in rhythm or condition
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Respond effectively to acute changes and participate in emergency interventions

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with telemetry experience (telemetry focus required)
Active RN licensure appropriate for the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
Comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing tele-monitored patients
Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision making
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Clear, timely documentation and handoff communication
Ability to work calmly in urgent or rapidly changing situations
