Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Document care and report changes in patient condition promptly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active authorization to practice in the state of California preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with patient hygiene, mobility assistance and feeding support
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Good charting and basic documentation skills
Team player who can follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
