Shift Type: Night shift (schedule varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM — 40 hours/week guaranteed; must be willing to float to units where experienced

Roles & Responsibilities
- Observe residents continuously and report changes in mental or physical condition to the Supervisor
- Receive and give detailed shift reports to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders and document via computerized MAR/TAR systems
- Administer medications, oxygen, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings, and treatments per orders
- Perform wound care and operate/coordinate care involving wound VACs
- Supervise LNAs: assign duties, review documentation, and mentor direct-care staff
- Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers with complete documentation and notifications
- Maintain unit safety and infection control, monitor LNA documentation, and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment
- Complete 24-hour reports, track antibiotics/precautions, and communicate resident issues to Nurse Manager/DON
- Support staff education, orientation of new hires, and participate in mandatory training meetings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent RN experience (experience must be current within the last 6 months)
- Active New Hampshire nursing license in-hand at time of submission (Compact allowed)
- IV certification required (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- BLS (AHA) certification active at time of submission
- COVID vaccination required — no declinations/exemptions accepted (upload proof at submission)
- Willingness to float to other units where experienced
- Locals residing within 50 miles will not be accepted — permanent address must reflect this
- Provide resume, skills checklist (within last year), 2 supervisory references from last 2 years, and active certifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and electronic MAR/TAR documentation
- Resident/patient assessment and recognition of acute vs. non-emergency issues
- Wound care expertise, including wound VAC knowledge
- Gastrostomy/jejunostomy feeding administration and care
- Oxygen administration and respiratory support basics
- Infection control best practices and unit oversight
- Supervisory skills: assigning, mentoring, and evaluating LNAs
- Admissions, discharges, transfers, and related documentation
- Comfort with computerized documentation systems and accurate reporting
