Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity critical care to ICU patients using advanced assessment and intervention skills
• Continuously monitor and interpret patient data to detect changes in condition and act promptly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform and verify moderate complexity testing in compliance with CAP requirements
• Administer medications and advanced life support measures in accordance with ACLS/BLS protocols
• Educate patients and families, offering compassionate support during stressful situations
• Document patient care accurately and communicate critical information during handoffs

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider) required
• AHA ACLS required
• TNCC required
• PALS preferred
• Previous ICU/critical care experience preferred
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (verification required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ICU nursing and critical care knowledge
• Proficient in continuous patient monitoring and interpreting telemetry/physiologic data
• Skilled in advanced assessment and timely clinical decision-making
• Comfortable delivering high-acuity interventions and working in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with ACLS and BLS protocols and emergency response
• Team-oriented communication and effective handoff practices
