Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Start Date: 07-20-2026

End Date: 10-19-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift with rotating schedule: 1 night 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM in inpatient unit, 2 nights 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM in homecare, every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate end-of-life care to hospice patients in both inpatient and homecare settings
Manage symptoms and coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient comfort
Educate and support patients and their families through the hospice journey
Document care accurately using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license
Current BLS certification
Current EPIC EMR proficiency (including remote training for hospice)
Hospice experience preferred
Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance for homecare

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently in homecare and collaboratively in inpatient setting
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Proficient in EPIC EMR system
