Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to obstetric and neonatal patients in a dynamic LDRP unit
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond to changes in maternal/fetal status
Manage titratable drips including pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Float to Med-Surg and ER as needed to support hospital staffing
Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and surgical techs to ensure safe patient care
Maintain quality metrics and follow AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience with strong fetal strip interpretation skills
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking and quick decision-making under pressure
Proficiency in Meditech EMR and TraceView/PIP EFM system
Strong teamwork and floating reliability
