Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in the OR during C-sections and other procedures
Provide compassionate care to laboring patients and their families
Monitor fetal heart rates using Obix system
Titrate drips like Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as needed
Float to Postpartum to care for moms and newborns
Perform normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Collaborate with a dynamic team of nurses, residents, and CRNAs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience (preferred)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Ability to circulate in the OR
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius rule
Comfort with floating to Postpartum and occasional patient sitting

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing
Proficient in fetal monitoring and EFM
Strong newborn assessment skills
Ability to titrate and manage IV drips
Team player with a positive attitude
Flexibility to adapt to changing unit needs
