Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend, holiday availability required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns, including labor support, postpartum care, and newborn assessment.
Titrate medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin as needed.
Collaborate with surgical team during C-sections to care for the newborn.
Float to ER or Med-Surg for patient sitting as needed.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for families in a rural hospital setting.

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state.
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Ability to pass fit testing for respiratory protection.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in labor and delivery nursing, including fetal monitoring, medication titration, and neonatal resuscitation.
Knowledge of mother-baby couplet care.
Ability to work independently in a rural setting.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
